Trojans Taste Victory for First Time in 2014

Last Tuesday the Tri-County volleyball team accomplished what it’s been working toward all fall, and it did it away from the comfort of it’s home gym.

            The Trojans got their first win of the season in Fairfield last Tuesday, defeating Maharishi in three straight sets.

            Coach Allie Bjork’s squad got out of the gate in dominant fashion in the first set against Maharishi, knocking off the Pioneers by a score of 25-14, earning its first set win of the season.

            The Trojans carried that momentum into the second set to go ahead 2-0, although it wasn’t easy. Maharishi upped its level of play in set number two, yet the Trojans still prevailed, 25-21.
