The Pekin baseball team gave up two hits total in three games last week. Seriously.

It was an unprecedented week for the Panthers that included two no-hitters, a two-hit complete game and three wins.

Senior Cade Millikin took the ball for the Panthers on the road Monday at Highland, Riverside. Millikin was initially a little rough around the edges early on, but settled down in a big way. After allowing two runs (both unearned) in the first inning, Millikin cruised the rest of the way en route to a complete game two-hitter, helping Pekin earn the 6-2 win. Millikin struck out six batters and walked one.
