Lion’s paper pick-up

The Sigourney Lions Club is conducting their monthly Paper Pick Up Saturday, Jan. 4. Have papers out by 9 a.m.



Bingo at Keokuk County Fairgrounds is Sunday, Jan. 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Thomas Hall.  The weekly progressive blackout jackpot begins at $300 on 54 balls.


Iowa KidsNet

Iowa KidsNet Foster parent information session is Thursday, Jan. 9 in Ottumwa. For more information call 1-800-243-0756.



Knights of Columbus Fish Fry is Friday, Jan. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Knights of Colmbus Hall in Harper. Whole catfish, tilapia, scalloped and baked potato, cole slaw, green beans, roll and a drink is to be served. The fish fry is open to the public.

Manor House SING-A-LONG

Sing-A-Long at Manor House Care Center is every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.

A Veteran’s TRICARE Mobile Office is available on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. at Camp Dodge Building 3548 (old credit union) in the service members support center in Johnston. 



Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday at 12 noon at the Methodist Church, 4th Street, Kalona.
