The athlete of the week for the week of February 12 is Carly Goodwin of the Sigourney Savages girls’ basketball team.
Goodwin started her week off with 18 points in the win over Melcher-Dallas. 15 of her 18 total points came from behind the arc, as she finished her night 5/8.
Goodwin also tallied a team high five assists for the Savages in the win over the Saints.
The News-Review would like to congratulate Sigourney’s Carly Goodwin on a spectacular week of play.
