Charles N. “Chuck” White, 95

KEOTA-Charles N. “Chuck” White, 95, of Keota, died Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

Chuck was born April 7, 1928, in Los Angeles, California.  He graduated from Keota High School and served in the Marine Corps.  On November 18, 1950, he married Patricia Striegel at St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota.  Chuck managed the Keota Lumber Company from 1955 until 1980.  He was also a self-employed carpenter for many years, retiring in 2014.  

Survivors include five children: Kristie Pepper of Bradenton, Florida, Karen Sutter of Arizona, Kevin (Dian) White of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Kelly White and friend Jody Phelps of North Liberty and Kirby (Kim) White of Williamsburg; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and longtime special friend: Betty Dill of Keota.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Patricia in 1995; daughter: Karyl White; granddaughter: Elizabeth White; daughter-in-law: Linda White; three brothers: Francis White, James White and Edward White and two sisters: Genevieve Tuminello and Madeline Reese.



Funeral mass was held on Monday, February 26.
