English Valleys, Pekin and Tri-County wrestling all in action on Saturday at Waco

WAYLAND- There was plenty of action on Saturday, Jan. 14 at Waco High School where English Valleys, Pekin and Tri-County all participated in a well-ran event. The Bears finished eighth overall as a team with 84.5 points, Pekin took 11^th scoring 56.5, and Tri-County finished last, but with only two wrestlers still was able to score 24.0 points.

            English Valleys had several wrestlers place on the day starting with Tanner Mihal taking second place at 106 lbs. Cooper Andreassen took home fourth place at 126 lbs. Wyatt Olson finished sixth at 145 lbs. while Andrew Fisher also took sixth at 160 lbs. At 170 lbs. Caleb Peach placed third, while John Fisher took fifth place at 182. Zach Axmear did not wrestle at this particular event, reason being unknown at time of publication.
