Levi was born June 21, 1956, the child of William E. and Charlotte (Lacy) Eldredge. Levi attended school in Keota, graduating from Keota High School in 1974. She then attended Indian Hills Community College and graduated from William Penn College in Oskaloosa. Levi worked for AT&T in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, before transferring to Seattle, Wash. She later worked at Walmart in Lebanon, Ore. She was the first female to take Shop Classes at Keota High School and she participated on the first female basketball team at Keota. Levi coached PeeWee baseball and was a student instructor of Taekwondo.

Levi was always the type to help anyone in need but would never ask for help for herself. Strong

willed and independent and never backed down when things got hard. Levi cared more about

her daughter and grandchildren than she did about herself, even when faced with the hard

choices of life.

Levi is survived by daughter, Kayla Ruth Erhart of Sigourney; five grandchildren: Harley Ryan Townsend, David Salyers, Skyah Pauline Haynes, Nevaeh Lea Bowen and Damien Curtis

Elsey. Also surviving Levi’s mother and step father, Charlotte Brown and Floyd of Keota; and four brothers: Michael, Bill, Charles and Patrick Eldredge.

Preceding Levi in death were father, William E. Eldredge and one sister, Mary Ruth Martin.
