Sigourney:

The Sigourney Savages hosted the undefeated Lynnville-Sully Hawks on June 5 for a conference matchup. The Hawks defeated the Savages by a final score of 13-2.

Jake Moore and Max Phillips knocked in the runs for the Savages.

The Savages fall to 7-3 on the season, and will return to action on June 6, when they host the Alburnett Pirates. 

The Sigourney Savages visited the Montezuma Braves on June 7 for a conference matchup. The Savages stomped the Braves by a final score of 14-1.

The Savages jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning. They eventually added two in the fifth, six in the sixth and five in the seventh en route to the 14-1 victory. 

Issac Bruns led the offense with four RBIs on two singles and a triple. Max Phillips and Lincoln Power both added two runs to bolster the lead. 

Reid Molyneux went five and one thirds innings giving up no earned runs on two hits and seven strikeouts.

The Savages advance to 8-4 on the season, and will return to action on June 9, when they host the BGM Bears.

Keota:

On June 5, the Keota Eagles hosted the North Mahaska Warhawks for a conference matchup. The Eagles lost to the Warhawks by a final score of 9-6.

The Eagles had three players knock in a pair of runners on the day: Dalton Dodd, Billie Kindred and Aiden McGuire.

Evan Vittetoe, Caleb Waterhouse and Ashton Galindo also secured stolen bases for the Eagles on the day.

The Eagles fall to 5-6 on the season, and will return to action on June 7, when they visit the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks.

The Keota Eagles hosted the EBF Rockets on June 8 for a non-conference matchup. The Eagles took down the Rockets by a final score of 5-1.

The game continued at tied until the fourth inning, when the Eagles broke it with two runs. They added two more in the fifth, then one more in the seventh en route to the 5-1 victory.

All runs batted in for the Eagles were by different batters. The batters that knocked in an RBI for the Eagles were Aidan Anderson, Dalton Dodd, Aiden McGuire, Chase Sieren and Evan Vittetoe.

Aidan Anderson got the start from the bump, and finished with a complete game with one earned run on five hits and eight strikeouts.

The Eagles push to 7-6 on the season, and will return to action on June 9, when they host the HLV Warriors.  

English Valleys:

The English Valleys Bears hosted the HLV Warriors on June 5 for a conference matchup. The Bears were bested by the Warriors by a final score of 7-1.

The Bears fall to 0-8 on the season, and will return to action on June 7, when they face the undefeated Lynnville-Sully Hawks.

On June 7, the English Valleys Bears visited the Lynnville-Sully Hawks for a conference matchup. The Bears were bested by the Hawks by a final score of 16-0.

The Bears fall to 0-9 on the season, and will return to action on June 9, when they host the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks.

The English Valleys Bears hosted the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks on June 9 for a SICL conference matchup. The Bears were bested by the Tigerhawks by a final score of 6-1.

The game was all tied up at one apiece after an inning of play, and stayed that way until the seventh inning. In the top of the seventh, the Tigerhawks blew the door open with five runs, and held this lead en route to the 6-1 victory. 

The Bears fall to 0-10 on the season, and will return to action on June 12, when they visit the North Mahaska Warhawks.

Pekin:

The Pekin Panthers host the Van Buren County Warriors on June 5 for a SEISC North vs South matchup. The Panthers fell to the Warriors by a final score of 12-7.

The Panthers fall to 2-9 on the season, and will return to action on June 7, when they visit the Danville Bears. 

On June 7, the Pekin Panthers visited the Danville Bears for a SEISC-North vs South matchup. The Panthers pounced on the Bears by a final score of 22-13.

The Panthers were able to score a run in every single inning played. The highlight of the day was the sixth and seventh innings, where they scored 11 total runs in those innings.

The Panthers had five separate athletes total multiple RBIs on the day: Will Adam-2, JaeDon Wolver-2, Ben Ehert-3, Hudson VanEnglenhoven-2 and Nolan Glick-2.

The Panthers advance to 3-9 on the season, and will return to action on June 8, when they host the Wapello Indians.

On June 8, the Pekin Panthers hosted the Wapello Arrows for a SEISC-North matchup. The Panthers bested the Arrows by a final score of 8-4.

The Panthers jumped out to a 3-0 lead after an inning of play. The Arrows bounced back with four runs in the next two innings to take a 4-3 lead. The Panthers eventually retook the lead in the sixth inning with an explosive five runs. The Panthers held onto this lead en route to the 8-4 victory. 

The Panthers offense was led by Levi Coleman, who knocked in three runners on the day. JaeDon Wolver also secured two RBIs on the day. 

Ben Ehert finished his day from the mound with seven innings pitched, four earned runs on eleven hits and three strikeouts.

The Panthers push to 4-9 on the season, and will return to action on June 9, when they host the Winfield-Mt Union Wolves. 

The Pekin Panthers hosted the Winfield-Mt Union Wolves on June 9 for a SEISC-North matchup. The Panthers fell to the Wolves by a final score of 10-9.

The Panthers jumped out to a 5-2 lead after two innings of play. The Wolves tied the game at five apiece after the top of the fourth inning. The Wolves went on to outscore the Panthers 5-4 in the final three innings to secure the 10-9 victory.

The Panthers fall to 4-10 on the season, and will return to action on June 13, when they visit the Highland Huskies.
