Raymond “Virgil” Curtis

Raymond “Virgil” Curtis, 90, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at his home in Richland. Funeral services are Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fremont Funeral Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday and will continue until 10:00 a.m. when Masonic Rites will be offered by Ollie Justice Lodge #230. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 Wednesday with Rev. David Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery near Ottumwa with military honors provided by Richland American Legion Post #504. 

Virgil was born July 26, 1923, in Ollie, the son of George Leroy and Hannah Edith Chacey Curtis.
