Seven Keota Basketball Players Named to SICL All-Conference

1st Team:

Sawyer Stout:

Junior Sawyer Stout wrapped up his spectacular junior season averaging 18 points per game. He finished with the most points accumulated in the entire South Iowa Cedar League with 451 total points. On top of the most points, Stout accounted for the most field goals made in the conference too. He finished with the fourth most three points in the conference too with 52 triples on the year. Stout will return next season for his seniors year, and look to replicate a successful season.

2nd Team:

Kimberly Clarahan:

Sophomore Kimberly Clarahan ended her sophomore year campaign averaging 9.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.1 steals. She will look to continue the success, when she returns for her junior year campaign next year. 

Cole Kindred:

Junior Cole Kindred concluded his junior year averaging 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists and two steals per game. Kindred ended the year with the second most assists accumulated in the South Iowa Cedar League. He had a free throw percentage of 79.4%, which was the second highest in the South Iowa Cedar League. Kindred will look to replicate a successful junior season, when he returns for his senior season next year. 

Honorable Mention:

Nicole Clarahan:

Senior Nicole Clarahan wrapped up her final season in an Eagle uniform averaging 5.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, one assist and 1.7 steals per game. She finished with the fifth highest free throw percentage in the South Iowa Cedar League with a shooting percentage from the charity stripe of 70.6%. She wrapped her final season playing for the Eagles with an honorable mention selection. 

Macie McDonald:

  Senior Macie McDonald wrapped up her final season for the Eagles averaging 9.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game. She made the second most three pointers in the South Iowa Cedar League with 49 triples. McDonald wraps her final season in an Eagles uniform with an honorable mention selection. 

Evan Vittetoe:

Junior Evan Vittetoe finished his season averaging 11.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. Vittetoe secured 188 rebounds on the year, which was the fourth most in the South Iowa Cedar League-East division. He also had the fourth most field goals made in the East with 124 field goals made, and the third highest shooting percentage with 56.9%. 

Billie Kindred:

Sophomore Billie Kindred wrapped up his second season in an Eagle uniform averaging 6.8 points, eight rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Kindred finished with the fifth most assists in the East division of the South Iowa Cedar League with 73 assists tallied on the year. He also tied for the third most rebounds in the East with 200 total boards on the year, and led the division in total defensive rebounds with 153 on the year.
