Sigourney Boys Falls to Baxter in the Second Round

BAXTER—The Sigourney Savages visited the Baxter Bolts, who are currently ranked 4th in 1A, on February 17 for the second round of the Class 1A-Region 5 bracket. The Bolts bested the Savages by a final score of 68-46. 

The Savages commenced the game by jumping out to a 18-13 by the conclusion of the first quarter. The Bolts bounced back to the tune of a 21-8 run to establish a 34-26 halftime lead. 

The Bolts continued the momentum in the second half, as they went on to out-score the Savages 34-20 en route to the 68-46 victory.  

The Savages end their season with a record of 13-10, and a conference record of 9-7.
