Six English Valleys Basketball Players Named to SICL All-Conference Teams

1st Team:

Kennedy Axmear (unanimous):

Amxmear amazed all season long as she scored the third most points on the year in the South Iowa Cedar League with 344 total points. Axmear also led the entire conference with 258 rebounds, and finished with the fourth most blocks with 32. Axmear led the conference in offensive and defensive rebounds with 98 offensive boards and 160 defensive boards. She finished her season with the second most field goals made with 130 with a shooting percentage of 53.1%, which was the second highest in the conference. In total, she averaged on the season 15,.6 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. Axmear will look to continue the excellence in her senior season next year.

2nd Team:

Delaney Hall:

Delaney Hall finished her season averaging 11.2 points per game, 2.5 assists per game and 2.5 steals per game. Hall led the conference in attempted three pointers, as 173 of her 283 total shot attempts came from behind the arc. Hall shot 23% from the three point line on the year. Hall will look to keep up the momentum when she returns for her senior season next year.

Honorable Mention:

Addysyn Westfall:

Addy Westfall finished her season averaging 9.1 points, 3.2 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Westfall finished with third highest total assists in the South Iowa Cedar League with 71 assists tallied. Westfall also had the second highest free throw percentage by shooting 82.2% from the charity stripe. Westfall wraps up career in an English Valleys uniform with an honorable mention selection for the South Iowa Cedar League.

Imigyn Stratton:

Imigyn Stratton concluded her season averaging 6.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and two steals per game. Strattong also finished with a shooting percentage of 38.9%. She will return for her senior season next year with hopes to keep the momentum going.

Keshaun Lundy:

Keshaun Lundy finished his season averaging five points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Lundy wrapped up his senior season with an honorable mention selection to the South Iowa Cedar League all-conference teams.

Reese Bender:

Reese Bender wrapped his senior season averaging 14.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Bender concluded his English Valleys career with a honorable mention selection to the South Iowa Cedar League all-conference teams.
