Six Panthers Make SEISC-North All-Conference Teams

1st Team:

Luke Long:

Senior Luke Long wrapped up his senior season in a Pekin uniform averaging 15.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.7 steals and one block per game. Long finished the season with 363 points accumulated, which was the fifth most in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference-North. He also finished with the fifth most field goals made in the SEISC-North with 149.  Lastly, Long totaled 24 blocks on the season, which was also the fifth most in the SEISC-North. Long wrapped up his Pekin basketball career with a selection to the SEISC first all-conference team. 

2nd Team:

Ben Ehert:

Senior Ben Ehert concluded his senior season with the Panthers averaging 12.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Ehert led the SEISC-North with 60 triples on the season. Ehert shot 40% from behind the arc, which was the fourth highest three point shooting percentage in the SEISC-North. He also finished with the third highest free throw percentage in the SEISC-North by shooting 76.5% from the charity stripe. Ehert wrapped up his final season with the Panthers with a selection to the SEISC second all-conference team.

Honorable Mentions:

JaeDon Wolver:

Junior JaeDon Wolver finished his junior year with the Panthers averaging 9.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, one assist and 1.3 blocks per game. Wolver secured 138 defensive rebounds, which was the fifth most in the SEISC-North. Wolver also finished with the highest effective field goal percentage in SEISC-North with a percentage of 76.5%. Wolver will look to replicate a successful junior year campaign when he returns for his senior year next year. 

Cade Bemis:

Senior Cade Bemis wrapped up his final season with the Panthers averaging four points, 1.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.7 steals and one block per game. Bemis led the entire SEISC-North with 134 assists accumulated throughout the season. He finished his final season in a Panthers uniform with an honorable mention selection to the SEISC-North All-Conference teams. 

Claire Roth:

Senior Claire Roth finished up her last season with Panthers by averaging 4.6 points, five rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game. She concluded her time playing for the Panthers with an honorable mention selection for the SEISC all-conference team. 

Emma Phillips:

Senior Emma Phillips concluded her time playing for the Panthers by averaging 9.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Phillips totaled 57 free throws made on the season, which was the fourth most in the SEISC-North. She wrapped her final season with the Panthers with an honorable mention selection to the SEISC all-conference teams.
