MONROE—On April 14, the Sigourney-Keota Cobras visited the PCM Mustangs for a soccer clash. The Mustangs defeated the Cobras by a final score of 7-2.

It was a rematch of a week one home loss for the Cobras. They looked to enact some revenge after a tough 1-0 overtime loss to start the season.

The Cobras found themselves in a 5-0 deficit after a half of play. Coach Dillon Maass made a change at goalkeeper heading back into the half.

The PCM offense continued to put the pressure on the Cobra defense, resulting in two more PCM goals.

The Cobras were able to net two second half goals. Dan McLaughlin netted an unassisted goal, while Jack Clarahan headed a beautiful cross from teammate Ty Shafranek.

The Cobras fall to 4-2 on the season, and will return to action on April 18, when they visit the Columbus Wildcats.
