Wapello Hosts Keota Girls for the Arrow Relays

WAPELLO—On April 27, the Keota Eagles headed to Wapello high school for the Arrow Relays. The Eagles placed eighth with an aggregate score of 12.

For the team events, the Eagles placed second in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:02.49. The 4x200 team consisted of Kimberly Clarahan, Grace Conger, Izzi Chalupa and Emily Moeller.

The Eagles also placed fifth in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 57.05. The 4x100 team was made up of  Kimberly Clarahan, Grace Conger, Izzi Chalupa and Olivia Lyle.

For the individual events, Olivia Lyle was the fifth runner to cross the finish line in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:10.97.

Izzi Chalupa placed fourth in the long jump event with a longest jump recorded at 14-02.00

Lastly for the individual events, Kennedy Jackson secured seventh with a longest throw recorded at 27-07.50 in the shot put event.

The Eagles track team will return to action on May 2, when they head to BGM high school for a SICL Co-Ed meet.
